TWO PRODUCT FAMILIES. ONE SUPPLIER.
Whether you’re specifying wear resistance, structural performance, or both. BISALLOY® has a grade engineered for your application.
BISALLOY® WEAR STEEL
High-hardness, quenched and tempered wear-resistant plate designed to extend service life in the harshest abrasion and impact environments. Available in a range of hardness grades to match the severity of your application, from moderate sliding abrasion to extreme impact loading.
- 320–600 HB hardness range (Wear 320 through to Wear 600)
- Good weldability across the full range with published procedures
- Optimised toughness at elevated hardness levels
- Thickness range 5–100mm depending on grade
BISALLOY® STRUCTURAL STEEL
High-strength structural plate engineered for demanding OEM applications where strength-to-weight ratio, toughness and weldability all matter. For load-bearing frames, chassis, booms and structural components in mobile and fixed plant.
- Yield strength from 500–960 MPa (Structural 50 to Structural 100)
- High Charpy impact toughness at elevated strength
- Proven weldability with published preheat and consumable guidance
- Enables weight reduction without structural compromise
Find the right grade for your application
Grade recommendations, application notes and specification guidance, organised by equipment type.
We provide the technical documentation that goes into engineering records, not just product brochures.

Mechanical Properties
Full data for every grade: yield strength, tensile strength, Charpy impact toughness and Brinell hardness. Tested to Australian and international standards.

Certifications & Test Reports
Mill certificates, heat numbers and full traceability on every plate. Material test reports available to reference directly in your own engineering documentation.

Grade Equivalence
On request, detailed tables mapping BISALLOY® grades to common alternatives. Direct mechanical property comparison to assess suitability for your application.

Fabrication Guidance
Weld procedures, preheat requirements and consumable recommendations for every grade. Forming and machining guidance for your fabrication team.

SPEC IT. CHECK IT. TRUST IT.
When your project calls for Bisalloy, verify the plate you’re supplied matches the brand and grade you specified. Substitutions can compromise performance, safety, and long-term cost. A quick check upfront avoids bigger problems later.
